Planing

Planing

The surface of planed wood is smooth and the texture of the wood becomes highlighted. The most popular type of planed wood has tongues and grooves and is most often used for weatherboards and flooring where the gaps between the boards must be as little visible as possible. Planed wood can also omit the tongues and grooves when gaps are purposefully needed. Solid wood can be planed as well, for various blanks, girders, rafters, struts and other wood products, most of which will be used as decoration elements.

For planing work we use an automatic planing machine, with sorting and packaging lines, a Weinig Hydromat and a Waco 3000. Our specialists visually check and automatically sort the final products. This planing machine can operate at a speed of up to 120 m/min, and can plane solid natural wood with a width of up to 220 mm and a height of up to 120 mm.

The technical possibilities of the planing machine, and the experience of our employees, leads to the high quality planning of profile products and the precise processing of specific designs according to drawings, enabling us to carry out manufacturing more efficiently and flexibly.

Our planing capacity is up to 7000 m3 of wood a month; or 84000 m3 a year.
